May 13, 1972 - May 10, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Thomsen Watterson, more commonly known as Tom, who left us peacefully on May 10, 2024. Born in Moab, Utah, Tom lived a life full of adventure and passion, marked by his time in Utah, Ohio, and Florida.
Tom was most at home in the driver's seat of a dozer, a profession that tied him closely to the International Pipeliner Association. His work took him across varied landscapes and instilled in him a profound sense of pride in his craft.
He spent considerable time in Green River, Utah, where he formed lasting relationships and left an indelible mark on the community through both his professional and personal endeavors.
Tom leaves behind his children, Jonathon Watterson and Madysn Watterson, who will carry forward his legacy of resilience and determination. His stories of the open road and the friendships he forged along the way will be cherished and remembered by many.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Saturday, May 25th, at 11:30 AM at Grandpa’s Pond, located at 350 N 3700 W, Hurricane, UT. The gathering will be a time to share memories and honor the life of a man who touched the lives of so many.
Rest in peace, Tom. Your memory will forever guide us like the steady hum of a dozer on the open field.
